Richard Sherlock has hit double figures. The tenth Richard Sherlock Whodunit has arrived.

Sherlock’s latest has Tiffany’s kinda-uncle Alphonse kidnapped and held for a $250,000 ransom. And then: Sherlock discovers a hidden safe holding a stack of cash, a Richmond relative dies in a Chinese restaurant men’s room, rich Aunt Polly turns up broke, Herman falls in love, a daughter takes a dive and Sherlock finally meets Mr. Richmond to ask for a raise. And if that ain’t enough: One mob boss, two thugs, too many look-alike cars, the ransom money takes the first train out of the station, and Yogi gets it totally wrong on her first case.

Whew!

Reviews

I love the Sherlock detective novels. Jim Stevens writes in a manner than is intriguing and entertaining; with more than a few, “tongue in cheek” references. Each book can be read independently, but to get the full character back stories start with the first book. Richard Sherlock is a guy I would want to share a beer with. A single dad just trying to make it through life. I waited for two years for Jim to return to this series. It was well worth it.
